Today's Bible Verse |
If you've never visited our church before, please use this site to find out as much information as you can.
Hopefully you will get a feel for the way we do Church and what we believe in. If you choose to visit us you can be sure that you will enjoy your experience with us as our guest. You can slip in quietly or you can get involved from day one - it's up to you!
RECENT ABORTION LEGISLATION
Reproductive Health Care Reform Bill of 2019
In response to this atrocious legislation which is currently before NSW parliament, many of our members and attenders signed a petition which was sent to both the premiere and all members of the legislative council. Please pray with us that up to full term abortion will not become a reality in the state.
STATE DROUGHT
As you know, much of our state is suffering massive under terrible and prolonged drought conditions. Our Baptist Association has arranged for a fund to help out suffering families. Suggested contribution is a one off $2 or a monthly $2 payment. If you can help please click here to contribute.
SUNDAY SERVICES
Our Sunday services are held every Sunday morning starting at 9:30am. They normally last from 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes. During the service we worship God with a range of different style of songs, listen to the Bible, have a time of prayer and listen to a message. Twice a month we also celebrate communion (first and third Sundays of each month).
Following the service you can either leave straight away or join us for a cup of tea, coffee or cold drink and some light finger food. This is a great time to get to know other people and to ask questions, or ask for spiritual support such as by having someone pray for a need. So why not join us one Sunday.
CURRENTLY
We are looking at a series simply called "Advent" in the lead up to Christmas. It is based on the the way the Lord prepared people for his birth on the first Christmas day. Please feel free to join us for worship as you prepare to open your heart to the Lord Jesus Christ's coming.
PRAYER
From time to time we have special prayer meeting in our Church. Additionally we are always happy to recieve prayer points and love to hear messages about answered prayer. If you would like to know anything about prayer life in our Church or about our most recent prayer points, then please visit our Prayer tab.
SMALL GROUPS
We really encourage people to join a small group. It is in small groups that you will find friendship, encouragement, accountability and understanding of the Bible. While a number of our groups operate as purely bible Study groups, we also have men's, women's, youth and senior's ministry groups that meet for social and other activities. We also have an active Sunday School (Kid's Church) which meets during school terms. Our most recent small group is a new Tuesday afternoon group from 1pm until 2:30 pm on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. It is held on our Church premises in one of our meeting rooms. Simply call in at our office if you would like to join. All welcome!
