89th Church Anniversary Celebration
PRAY THIS WEEK
Lord Jesus,
Thank You that You are more powerful than any negative force I may face. Thank You that Your presence goes with me and that Your joy is never dependent on my circumstances, but it is true and lasting strength no matter what I’m up against. I ask that Your peace would lead me and that it guards my heart and mind in You. I ask also for Your grace to cover my life this day. I love You Lord… and I need You.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

CHURCH ANNIVERSARY
Today is the 89th Anniversary of our Church. We give thanks to God for all the past years and people we have touched and look forward to more wonderful ministry in the future. (Unfortunately we are not able to have a fellowship luncheon).
FUNERAL SERVICE
The funeral service for Eilene Wilkes will be held this coming Wednesday, 16 June 2021 01:30 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park South Chapel in Leppington Forrest Lawn Memorial Park. All are welcome to attend.
LADIES' AFTERNOON TEA
Saturday 19 June at Rose Cottage Dural
This is an invitation for all ladies and daughters to enjoy a leisurely happy time in elegant old--charm--style surroundings. Meet at the church at 1.30pm for a car-pool.
(Jean will need final number for booking purposes by 15 June.)
OFFERING
Today, the offering will once again be collected (in a COVID-19 Safe way) “in the seats”. Please ensure you have offering envelopes if you would like to use them.
TUESDAY AFTERNOON 1.00 PM BIBLE STUDY
The fortnightly (Zoom) Bible Study will next be held on 22 June. We are currently studying the seven miracles of John’s Gospel. Zoom login details will be provided closer to the date.
KIDS’ ACTIVITIES IN CHURCH SERVICES
There will be children’s activities at the back of the church during our service today.

For Your Prayer this Week
- Give thanks for the life of Eilene Wilkes who passed away last Sunday. Pray for her family that they will receive strength and comfort from the Lord.
- Please pray for June T as she waits for a specialist’s appointment prior to likely surgery.
- Pray for the Lord’s miraculous healing of Somi. She’s had some improvement resulting from rehab.
- Praise God that Stewart J’s body is now functioning totally on Guy’s stem cells.
- Pray for positive outcomes for the following people in our church who either have had or will be having interviews with immigration:-
- Saba (Peter) who has been interviewed. Also pray that the Lord will heal his injured back.
- Michael A who had an interview last Friday.
- Hadi S (Harry) who has an interview this Thursday.
- Pray for Gwen S who is scheduled for heart surgery on 7 July.
- Praise God for the effective ministry Bagya and Vivek J have not only in India, but also globally.
- Pray for the worsening situation in India as thousands each day contract the COVID-19 virus. There is also increasing persecution for non-Hindu folk.
- Pray for David B who although he has casual work, needs permanent employment.
- Pray that Julie B’s exhaustion will ease.
- Pray for the “Purpose Driven Life” course planned for next semester. Pray that God will lead you to the appropriate study group to work through the course.
