Welcome to Testimony Sunday
For our last Sunday in lockdown we will be holding a morning of testimony. If you would like to join in live there will be a link on our Facebook page. Click the link and activate your camera and microphone. Pastor Guy will then invite you to share. While you wait you will be able to observe the service.
PRAY THIS WEEK
Father,
I praise You today for all that You have done in my life. You are faithful even when I am faithless. Your love pursues me even when I am unlovable. Your forgiveness covers my sin and frees me from its penalty. I praise You for Your love and faithfulness to me. Your presence in my life changes everything, empowering me to live each moment of every day, content in knowing You are in control. As I face today, Lord, remind me that no matter what happens, I can praise You!

Please remember to join us in person next Sunday at 9.30 am. We will not be streaming our services as the leaders believe it is important for all attendees to gather in the church building for the sake of our fellowship.
LADIES’ GATHERING – Saturday 13 November – 2.30 pm
There will be an informal get-together in the Church backyard (weather-permitting) when we will enjoy fellowship (no singing) but please bring your own afternoon tea.
ADVENTURERS’ CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON – Thursday 25 November

This is an informal time for us all each Sunday at 6.00 pm. The programme includes a devotion, occasional chat and light-hearted fun. There are opportunities for comments and questions. Go to You Tube and type “Pendle Hill Baptist” to “catch” the programme, or simply by clicking here.
TUESDAY AFTERNOON BIBLE STUDY
The next Tuesday Bible Study will be on 9 November. All are welcome to join at 1.00 pm for one-and-a-half-hours (via Zoom). We are studying the book of Colossians. The link will be on the Church Facebook page prior to the commencement of the study.

For Your Prayer this Week
- Praise God that Nev & Maureen B are now in their new home. They wish to “thank our church family for their prayers”.
- Pray that all of our congregation will attend church next Sunday in person and encourage as many others as they can to do so.
- Pray for June T as she recovers from a thyroid operation last Thursday.
- Pray for Christians in the Indian State of Karnataka where the BJP Gov’t is having every church and Christian organisation investigated by police. Pray that there would be international outrage and that a stop would be put to this.
- Pray for many countries where Christians are being severely punished and persecuted.
- Pray that David B finds suitable full-time work. He’s having physiotherapy for back pain.
- Pray for Julie B having to cope with seasonal and other chronic medical issues.
- Pray for provision of medical supplies to cope with the mass increase of COVID-19 cases in PNG. The government is relying on the Christian hospitals for aid, but they are struggling.
- Pray for God’s mercy to be shown to countries undergoing extreme political upheaval.
