Standing with Myanmar - A Call to Prayer and Support
As many of you will be aware, a devastating earthquake struck central Myanmar over the weekend, resulting in significant loss of life and widespread destruction. This disaster comes at a time when many communities in Myanmar were already grappling with deep instability and hardship.
Within our Baptist Association family, we are blessed to have a number of diaspora congregations from this region. For many of these churches, the impact of this tragedy is personal and immediate - affecting loved ones, friends, and ministry partners in Myanmar. We grieve with them and stand together in prayer and support.
We encourage all our churches to unite in prayer this week, lifting up:

Baptist World Aid Australia Baptist World Aid has launched a dedicated Myanmar Humanitarian Response Appeal, providing a way for individuals and churches to give directly toward emergency relief. Your support will help supply critical needs such as food, shelter, and medical aid, delivered through trusted local Christian partners.
